Abbie Cornish is an Australian actor. Born on 7 August 1982. Cornish is most well-known for her role in film as Heidi in Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for her role with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) as well as three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). The latter movie Cornish won the first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009, as well as numerous other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough was her mother. With the love and encouragement of her parents made the choice to study acting a simple decision for a younger Betty Gilpin. When the time came to go to college, she chose Fordham College where she learned to develop her skills. Gilpin began her acting career off-Broadway as she auditioned for roles on film and TV. Gilpin landed mostly TV guest roles over subsequent years. However, her breakthrough came in 2013, when she was asked to play a regular on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, played in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie prior to the series ended on June 15, the 15th of June, 2015. Gilpin has also been seen in the thriller mystery True Story (2015).
